Kitchen Preparation/Baker: Baking and food preparation for a high volume
kitchen. Duties will also include serving and cleaning. Must be dependable.
Must be able to lift 20-40 lbs. Experience preferred or willingness to learn.
Hours are 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Starting wage is $9.76 per hour.
Computer Lab Paraprofessional
Bea Underwood Elementary is in need of a paraprofessional to work with 1st-6th grade students in a computer lab setting teaching to the technology standards. Needs to be familiar with Macintosh platform. Must have 2 year degree or the ability to pass proficiency test. A Highly Qualified Paraprofessional requires Associates's Degree or 48 semester hours of college, or H.S. Diploma and passing scores on a Paraprofesional Test based on minimum competencies. Starting salary is $12.61 per hour This position is full-time 8 hours per day, 184 days per year.

Grand Valley High School
Night Custodian:
Capable of lifting 100 pounds maximum, up to 50 pounds frequently. Capable of working on step ladders and scaffolding. Capable of operating snow blower, riding mower, and push mower.
District Wide
Kitchen Production/Server:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 2 hours during serving times. Looking for someone that enjoys working with children and to work as part of a team. Some kitchen production experience needed. Must be able to maintain a clean, sanitary work environment. Great hours if kids are in school!

Industrial Technology Teacher: Qualifications: Bachelor Degree or higher. Hold or be able to obtain a Colorado Teachers' Certificate/License from Colorado Department of Education in Industrial Technology, Industrial Arts or equivalent. Vocational Certification preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado standards and assessments and the ability to facilitate data driven instruction and the standards based classroom. Ability to assist District in transitioning from traditional Industrial Arts to Industrial Technology with a focus on computer design and project based applications. Demonstrated ability to ensure student academic success. Computer and Technology skills preferred. Experience working with diverse populations preferred.
Physical Education Teacher: Qualifications/Job Description: Minimum B. A. or B. S. in Education with Secondary Physical Education Teacher endorsement/emphasis. Hold or be able to obtain a Colorado Teachers' Certificate/License in Secondary Physical Education. Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado standards and assessments and the ability to facilitate data driven instruction and the standards based classroom. Demonstrated ability to ensure student academic success/experience in High School Education preferred. Prefer a person with background in Health/Wellness and Physical Education. Computer and Technology skills preferred. Able to work as a team member. Experience working with diverse populations.
Social Studies Teacher: Qualifications/Job Description: Minimum B. A. in Social Studies Education. Hold or be able to obtain a Colorado Teachers' Certificate/License. Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado standards and assessments and the ability to facilitate data driven instruction and the standards based classroom. General experience in History, Geography, Psychology and Government. Demonstrated ability to ensure student academic success. Prefer strong background and successful experience in Social Studies education and integration of Social Studies and academics, especially reading and writing. Computer and Technology skills preferred. Experience working with diverse populations preferred. Possesses an interest in developing curriculum and designing lessons.
Band/Choir/Drama Teacher: Qualifications/Job Description: Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado Standards and Assessments and the ability to facilitate data driven instruction and the standards based classroom. Minimum BA in Music Education. Hold to ability to obtain a Colorado Teacher's Certificate License from the Colorado Department of Education. Prefer background and experience in vocal, instrumental, guitar and drama. Demonstrated ability to ensure student academic success. St John Middle School for 2008-2009 School Year
Counselor: Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and energetic counselor to work with our students. The candidate needs to have a Colorado State license in Counseling. Teaching experience is preferred. Computer literate, working knowledge of building a master schedule, scheduling students. Familiar with state standarized reporting system (CSAP). Previous working knowledge with a student computer system is preferred. Qualifications: Minimum BA in Counseling. Hold to ability to obtain a Colorado Counselor's License from the Colorado Department of Education.
8th Grade Social Studies: Qualifications/Job Description: Minimum B.A. or B.S. in Education with Secordary Social Studies endorsement.
